Stunning Gem Quality Chert. Stunning natural purple, pink, blue, and cream banding. Lots of heavy color saturation with some small areas of agatization. Central area has peek of blue chalcedony. Awesome specimen as is, or would make great jewelry!! Overall size approximately 2" long x 2" wide x 1" high. Weighs  4.4 ounces.

Shelf ready in the rough. Shown wet and in natural daylight. Great size for collectors, tumbling, or for lapidary work. Beautiful gem quality chert with outstanding color.  Guaranteed to be a natural specimen, mined in the Mojave Desert Area of Southern California.

Please note, Chert is a very dense, hard material which maybe difficult to work for non-experienced lapidary artists. Some chert may contain minerals that are harmful to touch or inhale when worked. Use of proper lapidary tools (wet saw, wet sanders, diamond polishers, tumblers, respirators, etc) maybe required.

Color may vary slightly from photos due to lighting and monitor settings.
