Chocolate Agate
THE BEAST! Massive Chocolate, Black, and White Agate. Quartz Sagenite sprays, banding, and agate eyes on all exposed edges. Some husk present on approximaetly half of specimen. Husk is hiding a monster, and with a little work this would be a collectors dream!! Overall size approximately 4" long x 4" wide x 3" high. Weighs 2 lbs and 3.2 oz.
Shelf ready in the rough. Shown wet and in natural daylight. Great size for collectors. Huge agate perfect as is, or for working into a museum quality display. This is an absolute stunner due to its size and lack of fractures. Drool-worthy dark chocolate coloring! Guaranteed to be a natural specimen, mined in the Soccoro Desert Area of New Mexico.
Please note, Agates are very dense, hard rocks which maybe difficult to work for non-experienced lapidary artists. Some agates may contain minerals that are harmful to touch or inhale when worked. Use of proper lapidary tools (wet saw, wet sanders, diamond polishers, tumblers, respirators, etc) maybe required.

All our specimens are 100% natural and untreated. Some specimens have been placed in an acid solution to remove staining only. Natural specimens will vary in color and detail, depending on lighting and monitor settings. We will not refund items due to color variation. Our guarantee is to send the exact specimen that was purchased, however if you believe that you did not receive your "mined rock" please email us immediately.
